We celebrate both my mother's 80th birthday and my niece's engagement in NOLA -- Maison Rougaroux was a BEAUTIFUL place to celebrate! We really likely the authenticity of the Bywater and heartily recommend Bacchanal, The Joint, Bywater Bakery and the Sneaky Pickle. It was a nice walk or quick Lyft to the Marigny or Quarter. Absolutely stunning property. It is completely renovated and updated but sill has old world charm. The location is great because you feel like a local but you are minutes from the tourist attractions. There are a ton of local (and delicious) restaurants like places for oysters and BBQ. The house has well stocked and has everything you could want/need. The outdoor space is a nice place to relax. The hosts are amazing and responsive. Highly recommend this property for your NOLA stay!
