Would not recommend living here. Landlord refuses to do anything about a roommate threatening people or moving extra people in.
Super unsafe place to live. Do not recommend. Stay far away. Landlords allow dangerous roommates
Hopeless lousy management! Disgusting and pathetic & ridiculous! Snow everywhere! No pathways or steps to enter the building cleared whatsoever! As a visitor to the place, you’d be surprised at their lackadaisical attitude towards keeping the place safe for their tenants. Stay away. Period.
Maison has great sized rooms compared to others in the Waterloo area for students and is super close to Laurier however, I wish I had read the reviews before signing the lease a few years ago. My lease just ended in August 2024 and I lived there for 3 years. I had little issues for the 3 years until it came time to leave. I was charged a ridiculous amount for painting, and scratches on the wall that existed before I moved in. Been living here for a bit over a year and has been a great experience. The room is very spacious, has an ensuite bathroom and a very good price. The building is well maintained and management is very responsive.
