The staff and volunteers are true angels: every gesture, every word, every look is filled with gentleness, respect, and humanity. If dignity is an art, the people at Maison Adhémar Dion are great artists of respect, compassion, listening, and sharing. The staff is welcoming, kind, and very available to meet the needs of those at the end of their life. Several services are available for residents and caregivers (cafeteria, library, massage, chaplain, and psychological support). The place is warm, clean, and quiet. The rooms are well insulated from noise. The rooms are large and well-appointed. It is possible to sleep in the room using the sofa bed.
Baueny's treatment of patients and their families is appalling. It's truly inhumane. She really should change her career.
