We have used Mainstream Pools 3 times now and have been extremely happy will all 3 projects. They have an amazing team who help you through all stages of the pool build. The quality is fantastic and highly recommend them.
The swimming pool has been one of the most disappointing aspects of our build. I’m advised mainstream pools built the pool. Since completion, the pebblecrete finish has developed widespread staining, rust-looking marks, and multiple holes despite the pool being actively maintained from the outset. We purchased a new home that included a pool installed by this company (as advised by our builder). Since completion, we have experienced issues with staining and the pool lining. We have been advised the lining may require replacement. Based on our experience, we would be cautious in recommending this company.
Couldn’t be happier. We’ve worked with a lot of trades over the years, so we know what to expect going into big projects — and renovations are always a process. When I first met this guy he seemed very strange and my gut feeling about his was not good but I saw one of his pools previously and I thought it was nice but the pool he built for me was a catastrophe. I should have trusted my gut. Always trust your gut and also read reviews! he uses sub-contractors and that should have rang alarm bells. Levels were all wrong, heights all wrong etc etc. There was no accountability from him, the QBCC got involved and the entire process was a disaster.
