Sleep with the light on and earplugs, so the big fat German roaches don’t get in your ears. Not a water-bug roach, 🪳 AKA: Palmetto bug-roach. A fat German roach, that tells me they haven’t sprayed in a long time. Those only come when there’s filth.

Hotel was nice. Check-in staff was nice. Breakfast looked good- we didn't eat. But we had multiple roaches in our bathroom. Never saw them anywhere else, but...

Sitting here wondering, "How in the world is this hotel a 2.5 rating?" Literally everything was perfect! The staff is nice as all get out! The rooms are great, pretty big and spacious! The AC works great. The beds are super comfortable! Everythingggg was clean! From walking into the building to getting into our room. We also got in kind of late on day 1 and so we picked up foods from the snack area, and oh my gosh! The stuff was decently priced!! Breakfast is hot and there is a lot to choose from! We had a wonderful stay for four nights. The staff who greeted us were all smiling and very friendly. All the employees were just the same, from the housekeeping staff to the breakfast staff. The bed was super comfortable in the shower was amazing. The best thing was that there was a small kitchen in our room where we prepared nearly all of our meals during our stay. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Lufkin!
