This was our second time staying at a MainStay hotel, and unfortunately, it will be our last. The level of service and cleanliness was appalling. Upon arrival, we found stained bedsheets, and when we called the front desk to request clean ones, the man who answered told us to bag them up and bring them down ourselves. That alone was unacceptable. We stayed for 5 days and noone stopped by our room a single day, even when requested. This hotel has really gone downhill since they took over from Hawthorne Suites. They got rid of the breakfast, dish soap, rolling chairs for the desk, tissues, salt & pepper shakers, hand lotion, & conditioner. The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned (dirty dishes, grounds in the coffee maker, & stains in various places in the room. Ripped curtains. Various bugs in the room & hallways.
