*update i had emailed the township of Langley & they did advise me that Mainland was to provide a same alternative walkway: The contractor is also required to maintain existing pedestrian access, unless active construction is currently being untaken in that section, where they are required to provide safe alternative routes for pedestrians to access to walk safely through the construction area. Was walking up our buildings drive way, to use sidewalk to cross at the crosswalk, as the road is currently blocked with Orange pillars (picture attached at the bottom), and we were told previously by the same traffic controller we were not allowed to run across the street as it was "construction zone" As going to walk down, the traffic controller (older lady who was driving one of the trucks) pulls up next to me & coworker and yells (scaring us) "You can't walk there the sidewalk is closed" there was No sign saying the side... read more
