The nurse Dot in particular-unpleasant and extremely dismissive of clients. Acts like they are having behaviors on purpose and just is unpleasant. Will ignore people speaking to her as if they don’t deserve a response when it is in direct correlation to them or their health. Unimpressed with 90% of what I have seen
My Dad stayed at Glenridge for about 6 weeks before he passed, and we went often, and got to know some residents and staff in the COVE neighborhood. There is no way around it, this kind of work is HARD, but we always felt the staff and nurses did their very best. I felt like their staffing numbers were really good- and they treated my dad kindly. It's sad because there are caring, nurturing staff at Glenridge, just not enough of them. The administration is useless. My mom's 2 years there have been a pill-pushing, neglectful nightmare. If you genuinely care about your loved one, don't use this facility. It doesn't deserve the one star Google makes you use to leave a review.
