I brought my Generac portable generator to Maine-ly Small Engines for repair for a gas leak. It was 1.5 years old and still under manufacturer warranty. They refused to submit the claim to Generac for evaluation even though they are an authorized Generac service dealer. Generac even confirmed all they had to do was contact them for warranty submission and Generac would handle it from there.

RedMax Gas Crap – When dealing with Mainly and RedMax products, be advised of the following; If the machine is not running right, your gas is old, your gas has too high an octane, your gas is too low an octane or you used the wrong 2 stroke oil as it has to be RedMax brand, you used the wrong mix of oil because you are stupid too measure it, you did not run the machine hard enough, you ran the machine too hard, you left gas in the machine or you drained the gas out between uses. What a Joke – Stopped by to just ask if the could look at my walk behind mower. Could not get the bolt for the rear whell off. While I knew there would be a wait of a few weeks if they needed to do repair, I thought someone might be able to eye ball it and just let me know what my options are. Overall excellent service & good job – Just had my lawn tractor in the shop after it refused to start. Service was fast and lawn tractor is back in excellent shape. Just finished moving lawn and just as good as new.
