We booked a tour for the morning of 13 August. The night prior we received an email from Quack ‘n Cruise canceling the tour due to maintenance. The email indicated we’d receive a refund and confirmation email shortly. We still have not received that email or a refund. Just an email the next day thanking us for joining them on the cruise. They have yet to respond to multiple emails or voicemails left. 1 week with 6 business days is more than enough time to issue a refund.
My boat tour was cancelled at the last minute by the tour operator. I drove approximately 6 hours to Maine specifically for this reservation, and because the operator cancelled the tour, I did not receive the service I paid for.I purchased the voucher through Groupon, and I am now being told that Groupon cannot issue a refund because the Groupon was already redeemed.
This tour company canceled our tour just a few hours before it was scheduled, citing weather as the reason. While it was cloudy, it wasn't raining. Maybe there were other circumstances we weren't aware of, and I understand that sometimes things happen that are outside a company's control. However, the real issue has been the refund. Tour was cancelled morning of event. Refund was promised in cancellation. Company did not issue refund. Called multiple times with no response. Do not recommend!
Very knowledgable staff. Kind employees. Felt secure with the driver and captain as I was a little concerned after the Boston duck accident.
