Many of the beautiful rugs in our Annapolis home were purchased at Main Street over the years. The owner and staff are experts, not salesmen. Remember: Every handmade rug is an individual work of art. Don't waste your money on wayfair junk when you can have a unique handmade masterpiece that will last a lifetime. I contacted the store to have my large hand- knotted wool rug cleaned and received a very prompt reply via email. I was able to drop the rug off quickly. Unfortunately, when I picked it up, the rug was not cleaned to my expectations. I think there was too much wear on this particular rug to be cleaned fully. I contacted the shop to explain the situation. The owner wanted to make things right and he provided me numerous options.
