The rooms look like someone's great grandma lives there, but they're up to date, close to ferry and easy enough access. Service is awesome, loved the fudge on the pillow. And held our luggage for us. And the apples are a great tough
We stayed in the honeymoon suite with balcony and Jacuzzi tub. It felt like the room was recently updated. There was no sign of wear and tear anywhere. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was perfect for watching the Lilac Festival parade and having morning coffee in our terry cloth robes. The room was well crafted with wainscoting and high end trim work and wallpaper with matching drapes. My husband and I stayed for our 40th anniversary. When we arrived we were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded to a suite with a balcony! It was a beautiful, spotlessly clean room. The towels were soft and the room was larger than our first apartment. When we returned to our suite from a hike, we found a box of chocolates had arrived for us compliments of the hotel. Everything was perfectly romantic and sweet! Thanks so much Main Street Inn! We’ll be back.
LOVED this hotel. Perfect location, perfect room size ( deluxe 2 queens), amazing amenities: nightly turn down with fudge, coffee and water all day and a surprise gift at checkout. All the rooms have been updated so don’t let the room pics on reservation page stop you from staying here.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Main Street Inn. We chose the two bedroom suite for 4 adults and 1 child. The room was spotless, spacious, and decorated so nicely. My family especially loved the balcony, it was the perfect spot to watch the ferries come and go and see the horses trot by. The location is amazing and very central, which made it easy to take breaks throughout the day while traveling with my young child.
