Nice Time at MSCH We've used many cat hospitals in the area over the years and our first experience with MSCH was quite good. The care was very detailed and complete, and the vet took plenty of time both with the cat and explaining the details of what was done. Interestingly, they were very reasonably priced and after being overcharged by other vets and getting poor service, we were quite happy with MSCH. Our cat was considerably happier than at other vets as there were no dogs barking. We actually lost a cat at one of the o... read more

My Cat has FLEAS! ( After a Visit to The Cat Hospital ) We took one of our three indoor cats to the Main Street Cat Hospital in Elmsford. Soon after, all three cats were scratching and biting themselves. Turns out they had fleas. In fact, our entire house had fleas and we have spent literally hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of them. We have bathed the cats several times, called exterminators, sprayed and powdered. This has been a real burden, covering and uncovering dishes and food, removing pets during treatment, four... read more

Good solid Vet So much better than our local vet. Compassionate and caring staff. When you have an emergency these are the people you need.

RDel Main Street Cat Hospital is a great place to take your cat. he entire staff is so kind and caring. They do not try to soak you for expensive un-necessary tests. I have gone to every vet in Lower Westchester and this is the only vet the I felt was in the business for the love of cats and not money.

Indoor Cats and Fleas My indoor-only cat got fleas this summer. I called Main Street Cat Hospital and they explained that indoor-only cats that sit in open windowsills are vulnerable to flea infestation (the fleas can jump in through the screen). Also, we human members of the family can carry fleas in--they usually like hiding on pants legs and socks. So my kids began taking their socks and shoes off before coming inside, and sure enough, I did see fleas on their socks. The staff at Main Street Cat Hospital advised treating ... read more

This inept nasty vet contributed to causing my cats death. She was not eating and was constipated the treatments did not work and he didn't tell us nor eating is a sign of serious illness. We had to take her to the emergency hospital where we found out she had a serious infection and brain damage. She had a stroke and had to be put to sleep I have read other reviews of this Drs incompetence resulting in other cats death

I love Dr. Diaz and his staff! They helped me with not only my cat Tyson, but I found a pregnant cat outside and they guided me on what to do over the phone. Also my parents had taken their dog to VETCO where they were told the dog was going to pass - Dr Diaz took one look at him and said absolutely NOT. Give me 6 months and he will be up and at it like a full puppy - best believe a year later our 10 year old dog is up and running like never before! Thank you Dr Diaz!!
