Had bad brake problems & they told us they were booked. When they found out we were from out of town, they took us in first thing the next morning. Turned out we lost a caliper bolt. They identified it right away and were efficient, professional and accommodating. Had us back on the road in less than an hour. Saved our weekend! Can't say enough good things about Main Street Automotive!
A tire of ours picked up a sharp piece of metal about 20 miles south of the bridge (thanks to Michigan construction!). By the time we rolled up to the shop prior to them opening our tire was at 20 psi. They were able to patch the tire from the inside and had us back on the road in less than an hour. The repair has held up great throughout our entire trip around the UP, back downstate and beyond. Thank you so much for helping us in a bind! Reasonable, too!
Great business and service! Brian took very good care of us, and took the time to get us in and out of there quickly. We were three hours from our hometown on our drive back from out of state, when we got a flat tire.. I stopped into Main Street Auto and Brian fixed it right away for us. Thank you so much for everything!
Thanks to the wonderful Main Street Automotive in Mackinaw City today. We had car trouble coming back from the Soo Locks and made it to Mackinaw city. These guys were so nice and helped fix my car and had us back on our way to the Badger ferry in a couple of hours. Can't say enough good things about how wonderfully helpful they were.
We had a great experience at Main Street Auto! We picked up a nail in our tire during our roadtrip. We called and they fit us right in to get it repaired. Unfortunately the nail was in our sidewall so it was not able to be patched but we got a replacement tire put on and they sent us on our way. They were incredibly friendly, quick, and their prices were fair. Would definitely recommend to others passing through!
