I can't say enough good things about Main Street Automotive. I made a mistake during an oil change and didn't tighten my oil filter properly. While rushing to get my wife to the Amtrak station for an urgent family matter, I ended up driving from Olathe to Lee's Summit with a severe oil leak. Tried to support local BUT Unfortunately had a terrible experience. First of all, I called prior to bringing in our vw and they said they could work on it.... then it was there for nearly a month. Hardly any communication on status, good luck getting through their phone lines. Then we finally get it back after dropping $3,000 and it was not fixed. We returned it the same week only to be told it was fine. Today i took it somewhere else since it was driving so terrible and it has 35 errors when they ran the diagnostic test! So... read more

I’ve had several runs with them and they’re very nice people and honest recently. The clutch went out on my 1988 classic Mustang and I took it to their place to get fixed and I just had it towed there. They are very nice people and they don’t rob you like everybody else does they do it for the right price I always take my vehicles to them.
