Food is great! It was our go to for special occasions. This anniversary was to be made special by my mom calling to tell them we were on our way and described us to one of the owners and she wanted to surprise us with paying for our dinner. Updated review. Food good. Owner reaction to inquiry of big mistake made not good at all! Had a late lunch/early anniversary dinner at our favorite special date place here in town ; Main & Monroe. The food is delicious every time. Today we both ordered the smothered chicken … A juicy 6oz grilled chicken breast, topped with a Rich and Savory Crawfish Cream Sauce over a bed of rice pilaf. Stopped in for lunch. Service was excellent. They were patient with us because we had such a hard time deciding what to order. Everything sounded wonderful. The food that the other diners were eating looked amazing. Check out the menu on line for a complete list. They have appetizers, steaks, seafood, pork, sandwiches, salads, desserts. I had to come here and write a review . I’m not from this area and is currently working at sycamore lake campground . I was having a rough day and I search DoorDash so see if anyone would deliver out this far and I found main and Monroe . When I received the food is was still hot !! Not only that it was the best hamburger I had ate in a while : Green tomatoes were prefect. This meal made my entire day turn around for the good . It’s good to know this area has some gems .
Food was great, service provided by our waitress Hailey was great. Music was a little louder than I prefer
