MLO is awesome! I trusted them to build my 4Runner and they delivered to me a safe and well-equipped vehicle for my post-retirement overlanding adventures. Overlanding is totally new to me. Tom patiently answered my MANY questions and provided expert guidance; never trying to over or undersell me. He was in touch with me throughout the build. This is a follow up to my initial post. Please remember that I gave Main Line every chance to do the right thing. I never wanted to waste my time posting. Since that post Main Line has done nothing to help me and as a result are making it worse for themselves. When I brought my van in for a two hour service that turned into eight I mentioned to Todd Ireland that the ski box they had mounted rattled a lot. My experience with Main Line Overland was very poor. I’m glad things generally go well for most of their customers. Unfortunately they appear to be an unprofessional company that is not equipped to deal with any problems beyond bolting on parts. I know it's a long review. I want to be concise and absolutely accurate. I gave them every chance to make good. When I was asked to leave an internet review I contacted Taylor Kronuch, their Customer Service Manager, instead. I am probably in the minority here, but this is also to serve as a "caveat emptor" moment. I went to MLO looking for guidance on upgrading my new Ford Maverick for Overland use. Instead, the salesperson sold me a large amount of stuff ($8K). Before I agreed to the sale I should have thought about how these products would work with the Maverick. Was given the run-around on a shipment date four times over a period 3 months. Emails and voicemails were ignored numerous times. The product finally showed up, but with serious structural damage. I was again ignored and the company did nothing to resolve any of this horrible experience.
