Honestly if I left this review immediately when it happened, the words and things I would’ve say. The front desk ladies were lovely and personable. The physician I saw…. Please do better Maiden Lane. These visits are already of the intimate nature, you would think you’d be treated well. After my long wait, (which is understandable when you are at a clinic so I was not upset) I was immediately rushed during my time with the doctor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. I was met with hostility, rudeness, and mockery. They withheld my lab results for an extra week. I really would never recommend this place to anyone and I never write google reviews.
I used to recommend this practice to lots of people, but I had a really bad experience getting my IUD placed - on top of issues with their scheduling process that caused hours long delays on the day of the appointment, this practice did not offer me any pain relief for my IUD placement, even though I called in advance to request it. They told me the doctor said the only option was advil (I did not speak to the doctor personally, they just relayed this through reception). I would not recommend this place. Dr. Dena Harris is great but the office is a mess and frustrating to deal with. I had the same experience several years ago, so unless you really like a dr. at this practice I highly recommend to find other places.
I want to specifically highlight Cathy Crisfield at Maiden Lane — she turned a frustrating, months-long issue into a same-day solution. I had been dealing with a billing problem from April through July, and after multiple unhelpful calls and less-than-friendly responses from another staff member, I was honestly at my wit's end.
