Fabulous place to stay in the hinterland. Rooms were a delight and owners friendly and helpful.
I've only been back two days and I already want to go back. The rooms were stunning and the beds so comfortable. The owners are amazing and so lovely and helpful. We had breakfast there as well and it was delicious. Highly recommend staying there.
What a beautiful accomodation option for the area. The room had everything we needed, the shared space was luxurious, clean and spacious. The options of being to cook in the chefs kitchen or get take away was great (have everything you need from the nearby town as it is a bit of a drive onto the mountain) We especially loved the abundance of games, puzzles and books to choose from. Thanks to the owners to a memorable stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maiala Park Lodge. Beautiful room. Comfortable shared living space and kitchen. Lucy, Joe and other staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was we couldn't workout how to light the gas cooktop.
