The team at Mai Hair Story did it again! I showed them three inspiration photos, and they recreated it exactly on me! I am so happy with how my ash mushroom balayage turned out. They specialize in Asian hair and did an amazing job! I also got a little trim, and I love how they don’t cut any more than you ask for! Everyone was so nice, and I loved the steam hair treatment and the little snack station they have for you while you get your hair done. I was also sent home with a leave-in conditioner to help keep my hair healthy!

I got my hair cut by Mai and honestly it’s the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Uneven, messy, layers look choppy and gives my hair a frizzy look. Absolutely do not recommend and never going back. So disappointed that I found this place.

I was a bit disappointed with the way they handled communication about the discount coupon. I called ahead to clarify the details, and the staff member advised me to simply screenshot the page and bring it to the store. However, when I showed her the picture, she insisted that they didn’t offer any discounts—even though the link was still active on their Instagram account. At first, I really liked my hair color but then months following my hair just started following out because of the harsh bleaching chemicals that used to highlight my hair. I’ve lost so much hair since I’ve went to this salon. Not to mention it feels very un authentic and like I In-N-Out fast return business model they have going on. There’s not much connection to the hairstylist. I would definitely not recommend getting your hair done here and it’s very expensive.
