My whole family has been going to Dr. Peshiman for years. Primarily for vaccinations since we travel a lot and that is his specialty. He is absolutely incredible in his knowledge and thoroughness in determining what we need to know. Not only what shots to get or not get, but also explaining the risks of each disease and how to avoid them. After two years of seeing this doctor, I do not recommend Dr. Peshimam. I really tried to give him the chance but with every visit there are issues. I have asthma and have been on the same medications since I was 11, yet he insists on seeing me every three months. Additionally he has either incorrectly written my prescription or not filled it out completely multiple times, holding up my medication. Be sure to get a clear answer about insurance. They do accept Blue Shield CA, but not B.S. Covered California. It's important because his vaccination fees tend to be a bit exorbitant. My vaccinations for SE Asia cost more than my airline ticket!
Dr. Peshimam is a wonderful physician. He is very knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen to me, and he listens intently. He provides rationale for treatments and alternatives that are easy to understand. Dr. Peshimam has excellent follow through on any tests he orders. I have referred family and friends to him. His office staff is very pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Peshimam.
