I have an oil fired hot water heater that was installed by Maher and serviced its entire lifespan by Maher. Recently it stopped firing and I called for service. I was told that because I didn’t have my heater serviced annually by them that my account was closed and they would not service it. So I would advise against purchasing anything from this business unless you want to be left out in the cold. I gave this company word of mouth advertising for years, now they will get word of mouth avoidance.
Maher heating serviced our oil furnace for the last 8 years in a home I've live in for the last 22 years. During the Covid 'scare' somebody else cleaned the furnace. This may have been due to inability to contact them or his recommendation, or some other reason that doesn't come to mind. When this came up in idle conversation the following year when scheduling my next cleaning, the end result was that we were cancelled as a customer.
