Horrible care. If you call MAHEC for any sort of obgyn emergency you must first listen to a 5 minute recording lecturing you on what to do if you have COVID. After you're eventually transfered to a human being your transfered twice more. After you get ahold of the nurse or the operator they tell you they must have someone call you back. One day I literally listened to their automated system for 25 minutes, being transfered 5 times and receiving a call 3 DAYS LATER. This facility is not personable at all. RecommendedI usually visit MAHEC in Candler, they are great-just adding that in. Anyways, I attended the Biltmore location because of everything happening right now. I just wanted to applaud everyone there today. I’m sure everyone is tired, worried and stressed out. But I couldn’t tell. As I was being seen through my car window, your staff was so kind and cheerful and calm. Thank you all for all you’re doing! It is very much appreciated! Stay healthy!
This is what they considered “acceptable” giving me as a first time mother for my anatomy scan. These 4 were taken in the last minute of my whole ultrasound. And they were rude when I called to complain about these pictures. And even better I waited an HOUR for this. I wouldn’t recommend MAHEC OB to anyone. Can’t wait to transfer from their care as well.
I will never return back to MAHEC. My experience was absolutely horrible. The wait was forever and during the ultrasound they were pushing very very very hard on my stomach. They were in a hurry and even took it as far as to push down and shake my belly. And hours after the scan my stomach still hurts and have been cramping very bad. I never ever wanna go back.
