Mahaska’s health providers are the best. There surgical staff is second to none the nurses are just as amazing.
My mom was recently seen out at Mahaska Health for an emergency surgery. When I tell you Dr. Garth Summers is a literal angel, I mean it. He showed such compassion working with my mom and she isn’t an easy patient. Dr. Summers let her vent for over 40 minutes and had his eyes on her the entire time, listening, giving advice and Grace. The vent session had nearly nothing to do with the reason why she was there. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Summers! What a good human.
This hospital is a breath of fresh air it does a outstanding job I'm comparing it to others ones including out of state. I would highly recommend them they are educated and make proper diagnois from the people from desk answering phones the nurses the doctor's they have wonderful team. They are on top of things they are awesome and they make the medical field look good if my health is at risk they always got me back on track. If you go here your health in good hands Thank you too everyone at Mahaska Health Partnership.
