Until a few months ago, this was my "go-to" place for returnables (clean; efficient service; nice people), but now every time I go there, they're closed, with some sign in the window with a random explanation (I'll give them credit for that at least). I have to add my complaints to those of recent reviewers about the odd, seemingly random closings. The Facebook page said they were open, so did the voicemail when I called to double check their hours. When I showed up (from Bangor), they were closed. This has happened 3-4 times. This was also after checking the Facebook page to make sure they did not make any posts saying they were closed today. The Facebook page says "closed for inventory" posted four days ago (April 12, today is April 16). The times I have been here have been a decent experience, however there have been multiple times I have driven all the way to old town from Bangor to see them closed even though google says they are open. Would recommend calling before wasting the time and gas.

Not me, my husband went there. Go somewhere else! This place takes your returnables to “count” and they say they’ll call you back in a day but they don’t! When they FINALLY call you back and tell you how much they counted, it is NOT accurate. Go to Old Town redemption center instead. They're honest!
