Food had many issues (especially the meats) and portions were minuscule for the exorbitant price. Will not be returning. The best dish are the bread and homus (even according to the servers), which should be the minimum expected at a good mediterranean service
This was my fourth visit to Maha, and after several years away I returned to celebrate my birthday and anniversary with my partner. My friend and I came with high expectations, to celebrate an early Galentines day dinner. Lured by the "Best of Melbourne" lists and glowing reviews, we left with a vow never to return. For $135pp (plus drinks), their execution was amateur at best. - The housemade bread arrived as a literal ball of raw, undercooked dough. - "Hot" dishes were served cold and completely void of seasoning. Absolutely loved our lunch at Maha! We went there to celebrate our anniversary and the staff all went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. It is on the more expensive side but completely worth the price tag. The cocktails and Lebanese wine were fantastic, the food (we had the Soufra menu) was divine and generous portions, and the atmosphere and staff were both lovely. We already want to make a tradition of going there for our anniversary.
