Staff & doctor were great!
Overall my experience was good. Very professional staff. The procedure to remove the cataract in my left eye went well. My only issue is my left eye was for seeing distance. This was discussed before my surgery. Now after the surgery my left eye can only see close not far. So now I have to use my right eye for distance and I can’t use my contacts in my right eye for close up. So now don’t need contacts at all. Yes. This is ok but not what was expected. Highly recommend Magruder! Excellence throughout, from consultation to procedure and aftercare.
The staff was very caring. This was important because I cannot stand anything close to my eyes. My cataract surgery was so smooth, mostly worry free, that it was almost pleasant. I wanted to hug my surgeon! The results was outstanding, I can see with sharp detail distance and only need drugstore readers, 175 power, for reading.
I am 70. Driving at night was a challenge to see signs. Things are a lot brighter now. Not wearing glasses driving is strange. Great office, everyone I dealt with were professional, courteous. and helpful. From Stephanie greeting you when you step off the elevator, to Alexandria scheduling the appointments. The staff members cared. If you are looking to have this procedure done, i am happy with my results at Magruder. To the doctors and staff that told me multiple times to use the drops, i am following directions.
