Extremely Disappointed On a fun shopping day, with myself, my 14 yr. old, my 2 yr. old, my sister-in-law and my mother found our fun shopping trip to be uncomfortable at best. I'm not sure if it's because I had a little one or her diaper bag with me, but I was offended with the manner in which we were treated. Gotta go! Magpie is a newer store in the Alexandria downtown area. With a fresh inviting atmosphere and friendly staff you've got to stop in and see all the great gifts they offer. Addmittedly perhaps more of a "ladies" store Magpie offers hand made jewelry and fun purses. T-shirts that will make you smile are displayed towards the back of the store. Awesome! This store is awesome. I totally recommend everyone going here, if you're female. The prices are a little high, but it doesn't matter because all the things that are in there are neato.
Magpie Fun place to shop! they have a little of everything for gifts. We stopped her on our girls weekend and each left with something. Gifts galore for those special gals in your life.
