Started out great. Ended horribly. A couple of issues, one that caused major stress. (Notary forgot our documents) to sign, had to drive downtown Phoenix to find a Fedex office to make copies and sign. we didn’t get copies at signing. Quick sign and no time to go over documents. AGENTS BEWARE: Closed escrow 7/10 and still haven’t received my commission check 7/16. Called to inquire on the status of delivery and they have no records of the closing packet being sent. Offered to reissue check but would take 48hrs to authorize stop pay then would be sent next day 72+hrs with weekend. I have never had a more careless experience on large payments coming out of an escrow account in my last 5 years of business in the industry than with this title company. The Magnus Title in Tempe was the absolute worst. Velma handled our paperwork and it seemed like there was no sense of urgency at all on her end. This action on her part put my family in a corner when making a decision as to use credits as we were on a time limit. She never came out to shake our hands on the initial meeting and it seemed like our paperwork just remained on her desk until it was time for us to sign an agreement.
