Flowers - We booked our flowers through the owner of the venue. Leading up to the wedding, she kept saying she sees the vision, she’s from Texas so she has to keep herself from going too big, etc. And the end product was lacking. I would’ve guessed we paid a quarter of the price considering how bare the tables were and how small the altar arrangements came out. I was a bridesmaid at a recent wedding here and the side door to the venue wasn’t locked during the reception so someone came in off the street and stole a bunch of items from the bridal suite. The employee running the venue wasn’t very helpful nor sympathetic when we said our stuff was missing and she told us to talk with the coordinator (who didn’t work for the venue). Just had my daughter’s wedding reception at the Magnolia Venue and Urban Garden. Deb was amazing to work with. The whole experience from booking to the actual night of the reception was so smooth and stress free. We rented the upstairs for the bridal party to get ready before the church ceremony. There were two large rooms with enormous windows for the bridesmaids and a separate room for the groomsmen. Very disappointed in this venue. We originally booked our wedding 22 months in advance back in 2023. My Fiancé and I shortly found out we were pregnant and then had a miscarriage. It tore us apart pretty bad and we made the decision to postpone our wedding. At that moment in time, we should have given ourselves some months and then started to plan but I just could not think about anything else.
