I have lived at Magnolia Trace for eleven years. My husband and I enjoyed living here from day one. We made many wonderful friends and shared many happy moments in Huntsville. The staff is helpful and always kind. I have appreciated the good health care and safe atmosphere. I highly recommend the life style and comfortable accommodations.
When my wife and I moved into Magnolia Trace (MT) in 2021, we had questions about living there the rest of our lives. We joined several MT activities--fitness under a full--time Fitness Director, going to Miss Mary Bobo's for lunch in Lynchburg, TN, eating with new friends, etc. After almost 4 years of living at MT, our questions have been answered. As a previous employee at Magnolia Trace I had no doubts about us moving here and being a part of an ACTS Retirement Community. My husband and I have truly experienced loving kindness from residents and staff. From the security of living in a gated community, gourmet meal options, variety of daily fitness opportunities, many programs and activities, and on site maintenance provide us a hassle free living experience and opportunities to stay as involved as you wish .
I began the process of volunteering at the Magnolia Trace nursing home, to spend time with lonely residents. I've done this before at other nursing homes, and know how lonely residents can enjoy someone else's company. The staff were originally enthusiastic that I volunteer, but then came back after a week and told me that all the residents would be too tired to interact by the time I would get there, after work around 5PM.
