UPDATE: This is an updated review after staying at the Magnolia Pointe for 4 nights in June 2026. This is right before the hotel rebranded as Caretta Landing in July 2026. My previous review was for my 5 night stay in June 2024. Both times were a positive experience and I would be willing to stay there again. Previously, Magnolia Pointe and its sister hotel (Ameniti Bay) were Best Westerns. They have now rebranded as Caretta Landing and Coral Pointe and are part of Choice hotels. We have stayed at this hotel for years. It has recently changed hands and the new additions to the property are amazing. The customer service is exceptional. Michelle at the front desk is a consummate professional with outstanding professionalism with every person she takes care of. Her kindness and attention to detail makes checking in a breeze. Stayed here, and the free breakfast was delicious. The room looked nice, comfortable, and was a good, sturdy size. The hot tub was also a nice size, and it was nice having a TV to watch while you relax. The downfall was that, as I was sitting in the hot tub, a cockroach came flying down the wall. Also, the hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. That’s a health hazard. Many people are allergic to cockroaches, and they can trigger allergies and asthma, making this an even bigger concern.
