I had such a wonderful home birth with Christy! She absolutely went above and beyond regarding ensuring her patient has a woman-focused experience. Her knowledge and experience were exceptional! She’s just a really good person too! They even took beautiful pics for my husband and I; they were so thoughtful and caring!! I know my labor would have been much more difficult had it not been for Christy and her team! Love them!!! In fact, of 3, this was the best one😂
I always knew I wanted a home birth and as a first time mom finding and choosing the Magnolia Midwifery was the best decision ever. The amount of care and love Christy put into each appointment, visit, txt message was unique. At the end of our journey together saying goodbye was so hard because Christy felt like family. I would 100% recommend the Magnolia Midwifery and I know Christy will be hearing from me when we're ready for our second baby.
My review is way overdue. I am very lucky to have had Christy as my midwife for my second and third babies born in May 2023 and Sept 2025. Having done prenatal care for my first baby through a birthing center, with a labor that ended in a hospital transfer ( for no reason ) I knew I would choose home birth for my future babies. While I still get to have vaginal no epidural birth at the hospital, I was pushed to get a pitocin and fear mongered my entire labor by hospital staff. Best thing I ever did for my second baby was have a home birth with Christy. The care she provided, both during and after pregnancy, far exceeded my expectations . Her connection and attention was more personalized than anything I received in the standard system with my first baby. I highly recommend Magnolia Midwifery.
Christy was our midwife throughout my pregnancy and labor of our first child! She was a wonderful guide throughout pregnancy. At each monthly meeting she held space for all of our questions and reflections. She also made sure to help us be well informed for each medical choice. Even though each labor is unique Christy helped us to prepare mentally for labor with the concept of a labrinth.
