Christy was our midwife throughout my pregnancy and labor of our first child! She was a wonderful guide throughout pregnancy. At each monthly meeting she held space for all of our questions and reflections. She also made sure to help us be well informed for each medical choice. First Time Mom here, when I found out I was pregnant after such a long waiting game, I already knew I wanted to have a home birth. Reading through the Magnolia Midwifery website I requested a call from Christy. I highly recommend Magnolia Midwifery. Christy delivered my second baby at home and she immediately made me feel at ease. She was so knowledgeable, down to earth and helpful (not to mention kind and very easy to talk to). Along with her assistant, she made the entire labor and delivery experience so peaceful and lovely. From pregnancy through postpartum checkups, I felt safe and cared for the entire time. I would definitely use her services again in the future!

Christy was one amazing midwife! This was my first pregnancy and when I made the switch from traditional obgyn care to midwifery I could feel during my first few visits with Christy that I made the right choice. I felt very supported by Christy and having such personal prenatal visits I think made a huge difference. In the end I had an amazing home birth. I most definitely will be contacting Christy again with my second pregnancy!
