My husband and I love to get massages, we pretty much go every month so I was excited to see that SOG offered a spa with massage services. We went for a couples massage and he upgraded to a deep tissue (which costs more, by the way). Every area they massaged was completely drenched in oil, and they left the bottle on my legs while they continued on with the massage. Had the magnolia spa package, all three of the workers I encountered were pleasant and professional. Great bang for your buck. I enjoyed so much that I booked my husband in for a later date on our trip
The massage was subpar. The therapists were late for a 9:00 am massage but still ended at 9:50 am. Not sure if the massage therapist understood AnP at all. They also didn’t not hot towel off much of the oil at all. Maybe if they offered a locker room to shower after, it might have been different, but we were not resort guests and planned to go to a Disney Park immediately after. Spa is not the nicest, after 30 minutes of waiting after our appointment we were finally taken back for our session. The "relaxation room" we were taken to first was beside a restroom and not relaxing at all, the massage was nothing great and the masseuse who had my husband was on her phone during his massage time and had her ringer go off multiple times during the session causing multiple distractions. Not a great addition to our honeymoon and unfortunately we won't be back or recommending this spa.
First time visitors. Didn't know this existed. I will definitely be back often. If you have stayed at Shades of Green and not used this service you are missing out on a major resource. I've been to spas all over the country. This stands up very well to the competition at a fraction of the price. Their signature package includes a 50 min. Massage (big shout out to Aisha), a 50 minute facial with foot treatment and hand paraffin for $140. Unbelievable. Service was top notch.
