Found the perfect dress! Highly recommend Lawton and Magnolia Bride!
Was looking forward to this bridal boutique based off the reviews. I’m not sure if it was our budget or simply us just being a later appointment but there was definitely a disconnect there. The whole appointment lasted about 35 minutes. Felt very rushed and cold. I would not recommend. Again, not sure if it was cause we were looking to stay within a budget although the website does state they have gowns from 1,000 up with the median being 2,500.
Lawton was so wonderful and the shop was so cute and original. The appointment was so personal and dresses were very unique. The shop is also in the French quarter which is my favorite part of Charleston- definitely check this shop out if you are looking for dresses in the Charleston area!
My experience at Magnolia Bride was absolutely incredible! While visiting a friend in Charleston, I decided to stop by a bridal store just to get an idea of what I was looking for—never expecting to find the dress on my very first shopping trip. While this doesn’t seem like the norm for Magnolia Bride based on their reviews, I wanted to post my experience today so that others can be aware: I came down to Charleston this weekend from CT to celebrate my 30th with my future SIL & have her share the dress try on experience with me. In November when looking at shops to book, Magnolia seemed perfect. She booked under her name and put her credit card down in case of cancellation .
