I've had multiple MRI's at most of the Michigan Medicine facilities. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at U of M. The woman who took me into the machine was one of the rudest employees I have interacted with at U of M. She was cold, uncaring, and wouldn't assist me with my disabilities, not even assisting me with getting into the dressing room or on the table. Getting a lumber spine mri at this location was a horrible experience. They put me in the tiny tube head first for my lower back which was unnecessary when other mri machines allow you to go feet first. The not so nice lady said I had to keep my mask on inside the machine (even though no one is in the room). I knew that was going to be a huge problem for me. Had 2 MRI's done . Very helpfull and caring staf on board male tall technician 2 x I was there help me to be calm and help me to be comfortable before the tests.
