We went on the sunset kayak tour and it was amazing, a highlight of our holiday! It was a mix of beautiful scenery, a bit of fitness and learning about local culture. Craig was one of a kind tour guide and was very generous with his knowledge of the area. Definitely add this to your Magnetic Island itinerary!
We had the best time this afternoon with Craig on the sunset tour. The sea was calm, the turtles were popping their heads up, the scenery spectacular. Craig’s knowledge of the island was excellent and also his knowledge of the local Wulgurukaba people was amazing. It felt very grounding to sit on this land and watch the sunset, knowing so many had walked there, and cared for the land before us. It felt very special and we came away feeling so much gratitude. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Craig. Cathy and Stu... read more
We did the sunset sea kayak tour and it was absolutely unforgettable. The kayaks were high-quality and easy to paddle, and our guide was not only super passionate but also really knowledgeable about the area’s wildlife and Indigenous history. Paddling around the bay in the golden light was magical – we spotted reef sharks, turtles, osprey, egrets, and loads of fish along the way. One of the highlights was pulling up at White Lady Bay, a quiet, stunning beach where our guide shared stories and insights into the Wulgurukaba pe... read more
Craig was so knowledgeable and professional. We had an amazing time and learnt so much. We would definitely recommend!
When we went on the tour it was a slightly overcast day unfortunately (which sounds like it’s a rarity for magnetic island in June), but having Craig as a guide made up for the weather and more. We saw a few turtles pop up along our tour and had really calm waters which were very nice. But the highlight of this tour was Craig’s insight about the area. I feel like I have an entire new perspective of Queensland from a local expert with a very unique experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone stopping at magnetic ... read more
