Top quality, reasonable price, amazing service!
My experience with Magnepan was terrible. After only 150 hours of use in a temperature-controlled home, one LRS+ speaker developed a vibrating noise. I confirmed the issue across different rooms and systems. Magnepan dismissed my concerns, insisted on a pointless flashlight inspection, and warned I'd be charged if they "found nothing." They later admitted there was "significant tenting"—a defect that causes exactly the kind of noise I reported—but still refused to fix it. Tremendous visit
I sold a giant pair of Wilson speakers to upgrade to the Magnepan 20.7's. No regrets. Magnepan has a legendary reputation as an audiophile speaker, and they offer amazing value in every price range. I've owned all sorts of other flagship speakers from ESLs to horns, and I'm happy to stick with my Maggies.
