I recommend him highly . He treated me twice in 15 years , Excellent procedure s both times , he has a nice bedside manner, and took his time , explained every Aspect of my not so pleasant procedure. Staff was very nice too and I did not have to wait long too for an appointment or wait too long in the waiting room which I dislike . John DeMarco .
After having horrific experiences w/doctors over the past 20 years, I've finally found a human being who cares about his patients & is admirably qualified. I've seen Dr. Magilen on numerous occasions & only have the nicest things to say about him/his demeanor experience & overall office atmosphere. ALL other encounters with other so-called medical professionals wouldn't even get get 1 star. With a 500 character limit I can't go into much detail but suffice it to say Dr. M is one of the good guys

He removed my gall bladder a few years ago. He was very friendly and explained the procedure in detail. My recovery was quick with no complications.
Age 50 and dreading my first colonoscopy, Dr Steven Magilen made it all easy. I initially considered a GI doctor, but when they told me if they found anything they would have to refer me to a Colorectal Surgeon, it was a no-brainer. Dr M is super-experienced. He took plenty of time with me to explain every detail and i felt very comfortable. A few days later, I arrived at the surgery center and had my procedure. I will definitely return to his practice if necessary...his staff was wonderful
PLEASE do yourself a favor and look for a better doctor!!!
Dr Magilen was my physician for many years. During that time, I was treated for hemorrhoids, recurring tumors and cysts in my colon, ulcers, and removal of gall bladder. During and after the procedures, I never felt pain or discomfort and today, I am in perfect health.
The worst experience I have ever had in my life. Horrible doctor.
