Ilya Magid fell in love with masonry as a school boy when he would spend his summers working on restorations of 14th and 15th century buildings at his home in Lithuania. This love of working with masonry continued during his university studies at Kaunas Politechnical Institute in Lithuania and Baumans Technical School in Moscow. I would 100% recommend Magid Masonry for your fireplace needs. We recently purchased our first home and the very dated double sided fireplace needed a full makeover. Ilya not only made suggestions but executed my vision perfectly. He is very responsive and does high quality craftsmanship. I could not be happier with the end result of our new fireplace.
I contacted this business because they built fireplaces for people I know who were very happy with the results and the professionalism through the process. They also built a very beautiful and unusual fireplace for a neighbor (the chimney twists as it rises). I needed some masonry work done to secure the foundation.
