Great food and fast too This place has some of the best Chinese food in the area. I always get it to go and it takes only 10 minutes. I have never eaten inside because the decor is quite bland. I highly recommend the Orange Flavored chicken as it is the best chinese dish ever!
Great Chinese Food – Have been a regular at Magic Wok for years, don't let the down home simple appearance inside fool you, the special lunches are quite good, but the special dishes, from appetizers to main dishes are what sets it apart. You can skip going to China Town or out to Alhambra. The sweet and pungent shrimp is superb. If you like potstickers their large northern style ones are pan fried to perfection. Crab rangoons are a favorite and don't forget the noodle dishes, including Hong Kong style (not on the menu).
Magic Wok is a cozy little Chinese place located in a cozy corner of Glendale. It has an elaborate menu yet they usually alter the dish to my husband's taste. My husband usually like extra ginger and garlic in his Chinese food. The ambiance is home-like and the waiters are easy and friendly. It's a quiet place so don't expect the hustle-bustle that you might find in restaurants located on the Brand. But it's ideal for a dinner with the family!!

Although, L.A. is sorely lacking in the chinese food department, this place is the best. I highly recomend the chinese style BBQ beef.
Gotta know what to order here. – This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. Being a driver for 10 years all over Southern California and having eaten at HUNDREDS of Chinese restaurants, this place is a gem. Rule number one, don't order conventional "Americanized" Chinese food. Sweet and Sour this or Chow Mien that. No, no, no...Try to stick to the Chef's Specialties page on the menu.
