My Mom was afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. As the disease progressed it became apparent she needed more and more assistance. After touring several memory care facilities my family and I chose Maggie’s Place for Mom. Maggie’s Place concept was very different from the other locations we visited. Managed with no intention of honoring duty, obligations, promises, terms of agreement, or providing quality care. Create a deceptive appearance and PR image. Rely on cognitive decline to perpetuate the facade and illusion. Heavy use of unfamiliar, unmotivated, and unaccountable Agency staffing.
