My wife and I were very hungry on our way to Georgia. We saw this quaint place on the map and decided to satiate our hunger. We didn’t make a mistake. Maggie was very pleasant and even offered us free samples of her snacks. We loved the atmosphere and most importantly the food. We got the beef brisket sandwich and fried pork, along with a coffee. Love it! I'm originally from Tampa. Used to eat that kind of food down there all the time but not many places up here to get it. Cool little place to go to. I went there because someone at the Lake City VA told me it was good. They were right!! 😂
Delicious and authentic! Cuban guy here craving for home food and visiting friends in Lake City. I wasn’t not expecting such a spectacular mix of flavors that will take me back home, in my mom’s kitchen in Cuba. Ordered the Fricassee de Pollo and the Masas de Cerdo fritas….🤯 Recommend this 1M times, you will not regret it, thank me later!
I honestly can't say enough about this spot. Its my private retreat, I feel at home here. The food reminds me of my Abuelitas cooking. The taste is always perfectly balanced and the sides are great. The prices are reasonable and Maggie always treats you like family.
