Disorganized, slow, and unclear. Turnaround times lagged, conditions kept changing, and even counsel complained. Feels systemic.
In my experience with Magenta Capital Corp, underwriting response times were unreasonably slow. Emails went unanswered for days, and files sat for roughly five business days before anyone touched them far too long in a fast-moving market. I do not wish to take long with this review but the following should help you avoid disaster. They are completely unprofessional, untimely, negligent, uncourteous and downright horrible to deal with in general. I have dealt with many private lenders while doing my job and this group sits at the bottom of the pile. To avoid at all costs.

Great service, my BDM - Nicole always answers her phone and makes herself available to me. Interest rates are great for the product being offered , reasonable fee’s. It’s like a B-Minus product before going fully private. They will do some things that other lenders won’t. Their no doc product is easy to deal with. My only complaints: there lending area’s - they don’t like rural, and there’s some area’s they won’t do. And they are very particular on the collateral and condition.
