I submitted a work order on November 1, 2024 for my unit and my mother's unit for broken cabinet drawers, neither of which has been addressed. this is going on 3 full weeks which is unsettling. there is no need to contact the corporate office on Jefferson Highway because they are just as rude, brash, stoic, uncaring, and unprofessional as *****. I lived in the El Cid for three years, the air conditioner chronically leaked coolant and the front office/maintenance was well aware of this but never bother to even look for the leak. This past summer they tried to blame me for running my own AC too much despite me explaining to them for the umpteenth time that it was their line/building which was the problem. If i could give none i would. After filing my complaint a few months ago i see they have traded in for a new management company yet AGAIN for the upteenth time in the past few years. I received a bill for unpaid rent for months i have not lived there. This only coming after having a mold kit test done and finding black mold in and throughout the apartment in which i lived which would be too pricey so they threw the prop lens on the next management company. I moved away from Broadmoor Plantation Apartments December 2017, which is managed by this company. The manager Michelle assured me that we were ok. Our lease was over, we gave notice, and the apartment was already re-rented for the 12th of January 2018. We moved over to a new apartment, and 3 weeks later got a bill. I hated it at Broadmoore Plantation! From the rude, inconsiderate staff to the nasty flies that would come in thru the walls.. I love the spacious apartments and quiet neighbors. Its sad that tenants pay rent on time, never have issues but when an issue arise, its a problem. I have photos & video proof of the insects biting myself & kid, they didn't care!! DO NOT MOVE THERE! No wonder the BBB doesn't show them as the complex name! There's a lot i could say, but God does not sleep !
