I’ve been coming here for years and they have changed the pale ale to a completely different profile that tastes nothing like a pale ale. I took that pale ale home and gave 4 other people a drink of it and all said the same WTH is that! Now it’s their choice to change a recipe but you cant call something a pale ale when it’s clearly isn’t a pale ale. I won’t be back there any time soon as that is literally all I drank there. Oh and I’m 100% their 16oz glasses are not 16oz.
Great place to enjoy a beer and pretzel. Dog loved the day in seating outside! Our hostess Lindsay was so friendly and accommodating!
This was our first time at Maelstrom brewing and it won't be the last! We had a delightful time grabbing a beer and pretzel before jetting off to do chores in the area. The beer selection was much broader than I expected for what seems like a small operation and the pours we tried were quite good. The real highlight was the staff (who was awesome and helpful) and the space itself - airy and well furnished. The parking lot is tiny so be ready to street park. Also, the cheese dip for the pretzel was surprisingly good.
