If I could give her negative 0 stars I would. This doctor has HORRIBLE bedside manner. She is so cold and unconcerned about her patients' care. My daughter fractured her finger and at first I must say, I honestly thought because we were a family of color and because my daughter is a child that Young didn't think much of us for those reasons. from the moment she walked into the room she was very dismissive after dealing with many injuries in my life. This woman played me off, as though I had a minor scrape when I have a serious problem with my hand with extreme pain she wrapped one finger with the other finger and sent me to physical therapy with no explanation walked out of the room and left me sitting there in wonder she was rude, condescending unprofessional, and I canceled any follow up appointment. This doctor deserves no stars. Very bad bedside manners and does not care for her patients. She nearly killed my brother. My brother was sent to the ER for an infection on Easter night on his finger in which Dr. Young decided to pop it and suggested amputation. Even I know you are NEVER to pop a bubble that has formed on your skin. All that does is introduces bacteria and increases your infection risk which is exactly what happened in my brothers' case. Dr. Young did carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands. I had severe nerve damage and my hands were in pain constantly. I let it go too long because I was scared of the surgery. I had the absolute best experience with her and would highly recommend her to anyone needing carpal tunnel surgery. She's awesome! The surgeries literally changed my life.
Today was my first visit with Dr. Young. She was very professional and understanding. I was diagnosed and treated in the same day.
