First time dining at Mae & Co., and overall it was a good experience. Our server, Andy, was fantastic and very attentive throughout our meal. We started with the poblano pimento cheese, and it was hands down the best part of the meal. The beignet was fluffy, pillowy, and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the raw oysters. Great food, great service! The atmosphere is cozy, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. They are also one of only a few restaurants in Shreveport and Bossier that carry hard seltzers (Truly) for a gluten free drink option.
This is very important... I mean very important. If you dine here there are two things you MUST experience. The first is if you like oysters... If you don't... Scroll down to #2. The "Parmesan crusted grilled oysters" are pure bliss.
