The worst CPAs ever. If you ever get audited by the IRS they won’t defend you but will abandon you if there is a problem.
I worked with Joe O'Meara for years on our S-Corp returns as well as personal returns. As a tax nerd myself, I'm certain I could be challenging at times in that I took a more active role in tax preparation than most. Joe was always patient, well informed, willing to say when something was outside his area of expertise or experience, and work with me even when I was wrong but didn't know it yet. When I really needed a professional CPA, they abandoned me to the IRS. They were fine for my usual taxes, but when I sold a rental property and informed them months before tax time to plan ahead they ignored my repeated attempts. Despite having my information prior to the deadline they filed an extension and waited months to complete my returns which I got fined for by the IRS. When I asked them for assistance navigating the fines I was again ignored.
