So now I am ready to rate my experience with Stephen Madry, MD . Two month pass after my breast reduction surgery and I am fully recovered and had no issues whatsoever after surgery. I am so thankful for Dr. Madry/Advocate for a wonderful experience with my breast reduction surgery. Scheduling was easy and communication was very good. The big day went really smoothly. Dr. Madry had me in for follow up visits frequently in the first few weeks and gave lots of direction about how to recover. The first few weeks were what you would expect; sore and uncomfortable. Dr Madry performed breast reduction as part of surgical intervention/treatment of my second breast cancer, working closely with my cancer surgeon in this regard. Results were excellent, with minimal scarring despite the extensive nature of the surgery. Very pleased with the outcome.
I’m extremely grateful for Dr. Madry and his team for helping me navigate my unexpected need for a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction and nerve grafts.
